Hates the ER

Last night at about 8:00 Cory started vomiting again. So this time we went down town to Children's. They did some test an IV and a shot of meds, and he went to sleep when they finally released us at 3:00 am we went home and crashed they have ordered us to follow up with a Gi specialist so we might get some much needed answers on why Cory has been having spells of vomiting and severe stomach pain. This is what we needed, we have been to the doc so many times and they just called it a virus.
On a better note I can not wait to go to church tomorrow.
Cory is suppose to go to school Monday on the bus and they never called us to set up a time!

Long to no read!

Hey guys sorry I have not been on. Ray reminded me tonight that it had been a long time, so I have decided to start blogging again! A lot has happened in the past weeks! I failed my last class so I have been struggling to do my homework! Cory is on a waiting list to be tested for a true diagnosis of aspergers. Not to mention he has had the stomach virus two times. We go on Wednesday for Cory's IEP meeting. This will tell us if he will be in Isaac's class. I have just been really struggling to do simple task. All I want to do is sleep. I just feel exhausted! I am sure that I will be fine. WE HAD THE BEST SMALL GROUP EVER! I will blog again Wednesday afternoon. Talk to you guys again soon!

VACATION!!!!!!!

We finally get to go on a vacation! At the end of March we will be traveling to NC. The last time we were there was when Cory was an infant! We will be staying with my mother-in-law. I convinced Travis to go to the beach for one day, it will be Cory and Travis' first time seeing the Ocean. I am so excited! The last time we went we only stayed for three days and it was not long enough so this time we are hoping to stay a full week!

Focus on the now.
Take Rays challenge, although I started this one early! I feel better already!
Treat my body better, exercise (wii fit) eat foods that are good for my diabetes.
Most of all I am bound and determined to not allow people to weigh me or my family down. I need to look out for my family; most importantly my son! I need to do what is right for him!

keeping it short

My week has been very busy. It started out great, I made my first pot roast and I thought that it was delicious. Ray and Melissa came over for dinner it was a nice relaxing evening. Cory was sick for the rest of the week they are doing some test, we will find out over the next week. I think it is nothing, considering he is fine now. Travis and I met up with the smith small group, for some caroling. It was hilarious Dan about got beat up by one of the residents there. After the we went back to Scott and Diana's, and then we went to dinner. The week had some rough spots but, ended on a very high note!!!!!!

Addicted

I am officially addicted to blogging! Christine is so right! My weekend went great. The nativity was awesome as always, I got to sit with one of the goats, she is so cute I can not wait to see her babies! I kept my nephew over night, he did not sleep at all! I came home from church and took a much needed nap. We started going the Christmas lights late so needless to say they are not finished. We are in the process of writing (in lights) Jesus is the reason for the season. So needless to say all we have up is "Jesus is for the"! Now that it is blistering cold outside, who knows when we will get them finished! Tuesday night we are having pastor Ray and Melissa over for hopefully a very yummy pot roast. So today, I did a paper on Ted Bundy today, interesting and disturbing. Then I did some much needed cleaning! Anyways I am off talk to you soon!

Christmas Spirit?

Is it bad that I am not in the Christmas spirit? I love to go Christmas shopping and I have not been able to do that. On a lighter note, I have decided to do laundry all day! I can not wait to go an work at the Live Nativity Scene at church. I get very sad when I think about going to church Sunday morning! It is a long story, but to make it short my 3 year old is having trouble in the Sunday school class. That is for another post. I am the new young youth leader, I am having a blast with this. I can not wait to see what is to come!
My nephew Cameron had to have surgery to correct his tongue, he was tongue tied. They also cut his upper lip. He is doing great!
Well I am off to switch over my clothes.
